    All day comfort

    By Abe

    Pros

    • Fit System
    • Vent System

    Cons

    • Audio quality

    Best Uses

This is a very comfortable helmet. The ear pads are covered in a soft material and the vent system helps keep you cool on warmer days but surprisingly warm when the temperature drops. The dialed fit system also allows you to fine tune the fit to ensure safety and comfort. My only complaint is the audio quality is a little lacking in volume and bass punch. I have also had the speakers come out of their housing a few times (a simple fix but still annoying). I'm proud to be representing K2 while jamming out in style!

I am a ski instructor from New Hampshire. I love this helmet's low profile and fit. It is very comfortable and warm. Great liner adjustment. Good quality ear pad speakers. The only reason I rated it a 4 star is that liner is very warm and it is too hot for spring conditions. Great product

I haven't rang my bell yet but it looks good and feels good and sounds good. If sound quality is really important then you don't listen to mp3's while you ski.

            • Wearable everyday

I wore this helmet throughout the 2011-12 ski season. It's EASY to custom fit and fits so well, I often forget to buckle the chin strap! Unlike most light weight helmets, the venting system is great. Close 'em and you're warm on the coldest of days, open 'em up and let the cool air flow. I ski about 50 days per year and would buy this helmet again. I don't use the integrated audio system, so I can't comment on that, but this is a great bucket, one of the best I've ever worn!

The Diversion Helmet is the ultimate step up for someone looking to upgrade a standard or entry-level helmet, or for someone who has been boarding for a while and interested in moving to more aggressive park play.

I've been boarding for 10 Years without a helmet, but as I've been getting more and more into jumps, rails, and pipes I figured it was time for a helmet.

Not only does the diversion fit great, it's extremely comfortable, doesn't roam on your head, and holds goggles firmly in place without squeezing them against your face or cutting of peripheral vision (a problem I had trying on Standard priced helmets.

The included speakers are nice, but they are far from impressive if you are an Audiophile. Personally, I like them because they are strong enough to produce noticeable bass and clear tone separation, but far enough from the ear and semi-muffled so you can still hear other skiiers/snowboarders in your direct vicinity.

Hardest part about the Diversion is the price, it was a tough investment considering I've been fine without one for so long. However, the added confidence going into a trick knowing my head is safe helps me pull of some even crazier moves than I did before, and that alone is well worth the price of admission.

Great fitting stylish and the first helment I would buy.I have not used it yet,No Snow, the venting looks great. The fit and adjustablity is great. The audio part is what drew me to it. That is the con part. Not the correct cord with mic. Ordered twice got the same thing. The sound with an IPone 4 hook to it got me very low volume.
