Active Matrix Venting allows you to regulate the airflow of the helmet vent system with the touch of your finger. Controlling large vents with minimal effort results in superior style and function that adjusts on the fly. It’s climate control with the flip of a switch. K2dialed Fit System
The K2dialed Fit System creates a custom-fitting helmet no matter what your head shape. An ergonomically inspired three-point adjustable interface maximizes fit and customization with the twist of a dial. This allows for the ultimate convenience of being able to make fit adjustments on the fly. The end result of the K2dialed Fit System is customized helmet fit just for you. This full-coverage, washable liner features a crown mesh that wicks moisture and breathes where you need it to while snugly cradling your head, creating the unmatched fit of a K2 Helmet. The Full-Wrap Liner System is seamlessly integrated with our K2dialed Fit System and K2 Baseline Audio, creating the ultimate user experience. No gaps equals better fit and more comfort. You don’t wear boots without socks, so why would you wear a helmet without a liner? Available on every single K2 helmet.

Hard-Shell

Hard-Shell
Hard-Shell construction sets the standard for what a tough, reliable helmet is meant to be and is characterized by bonding an injection molded ABS shell to a layer of impact absorbing EPS foam. The lightweight EPS forms the inner layer of the “Hard-Shell” and is the primary component that crushes during impact to absorb and dissipate energy. Cradling the EPS is an injection molded ABS “Hard” Shell that protects the EPS from dings and nicks.

Goggle-Compatibility
K2 Helmets' universal brim designs work in partnership with the helmet-driven topline design and custom engineered strap brackets of our goggle frames, to achieve maximum helmet/goggle fit and compatibility. The combination of Active Matrix™ and Passive Channel™ venting systems on our helmets and carefully distributed lens vents on our goggles, minimize moisture buildup and maximize air circulation, ensuring a clear field of vision and optimized temperature control in various conditions.

Baseline Audio Level 2
K2 Baseline Audio systems brings music to your ears and/or connectivity to your phone. The speakers come pre-installed in our exclusive Baseline Audio Earpads on all designated K2 helmets. The speaker housing is designed for minimal, low-profile stowage so you won’t notice them unless the music is playing. If you would rather ride without music or phone connection, the speakers are easily removable from the earpads. There’s no need to worry about compatibility or buying a separate accessory for your mp3 player or phone when everything you need comes with the helmet.

Cool helmet. Cheap audio

This helmet is very comfortable and looks good!

Can't speak of protection as I haven't bounced my head off anything lately but it seems legit.

After only one use (I rode deep powder for 3-4 hours as a strong intermediate/advanced snowboarder) the audio system of this helmet is in ruins.

-The cord began to fray where it connects to the volume adjustment.
-Left ear speaker stopped working completely.
-The dialed fit system becomes disconnected easily. This was not much of a problem because the helmet fit pretty well no matter what.

K2 replacement parts don't seem to be available anywhere. Helmet speakers can be purchased but I don't know how well any others work...yet...So if you buy this helmet hopefully your's doesn't wear out as fast.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

learned to do double backflips and frontflips with the helmet and protected my head when i crashed still wear it like a hat
