The feather-light Rival BC provides you with a removable beanie and the protection you need, without the extra weight. The Unique Cat-Tongue fabric on the inside of the helmet helps stabilize the helmet on the beanie while allowing for easy removal for ascents and stowage. This is the ideal helmet for the short hikes to the extended backcountry adventure.

Used to ride a Smith Gauge with all the insides out over my beanie/goggles, the Rival BC is much lighter and it fits just as good if not better than my old Smith. Rock the Rival BC helmet with my own beanie and have taken the size adjustment in the back of the helmet out to wear the goggles underneath. You know it's hard to get the perfect fit of an over beanie/over goggle helmet. The Rival is a great size and fits well over the goggles.

Bought this at the beginning of last year's season. Used it several times and fits well with my Smith and Uvex goggles. The beanie is great - stylish, warm, comfortable, and great in the bar after a day on the slopes. K2 - why can't we buy more/extra beanies??? That's my only complaint. Otherwise, great helmet that fits well and was really warm on a hellishly cold day.
