Technology

360-k2dialed-fit-system
An evolution of the K2dialed Fit System™, the new 360 K2dialed Fit System™ delivers unparalleled customization. A web design that is integrated into the textile liner provides maximum comfort and a secure fit. Thanks to more evenly distributed pressure, the all-new 360 K2dialed Fit System™ eliminates unwanted pressure points regardless of your head shape.
Level-3-baseline-audio
The K2 Level 3 Baseline Audio system seamlessly connects you with your cell phone or media player. The audio system comes pre-installed in Baseline Audio Earpads. The speaker housing creates a minimal, low-profile stowage so you won’t notice the speakers unless the music is playing. If you would rather ride without the speakers installed, they can be easily removed from the earpads. With a detachable cord and an all-new on-cord audio controller for initiating on-the-go pause/play and answer/hang-up functions, your media device is literally at your fingertips.
In-mold
In-Mold is the premium construction for ultra-lightweight performance helmets and is characterized by an EPS liner that is molded directly to a lightweight polycarbonate shell. The result is a construction so light you’ll forget it is even there.
Passive-channel-venting
Channels on the inside surface of the EPS direct air-flow between your head and the helmet, removing moisture and excess heat; keeping you dry and comfortable all day long. Available on all K2 helmets.
Full-wrap-liner
This full-coverage, washable liner snugly cradles your head, creating the unmatched fit of a K2 helmet. The liner features a crown mesh that wicks moisture and breathes to prevent overheating. The Full-Wrap Liner System is seamlessly integrated with both our standard and 360 K2dialed™ Fit Systems and K2 Baseline Audio, creating the ultimate user experience. There are no gaps, which means a better fit and improved comfort.

Comments about K2 Skis Rival Pro:

Amazing helmet! so lightweight and still very protective, Audio works well and is loud and clear, comfortable and is also stylish. WARNING READ THE INSTRUCTIONS THROUGHLY, I didn't and ruined the matte finnish of the black helmet with Isopropyl Alcohol 70% when cleaning the surface area to stick on a Gopro mount, it turned the area the alcohol touched a chalky white colour. If you have already done this and need a way to hide it, apply WD-40 with soft cloth and leave for 2 min then wipe off. After doing this coat affected area with Vaseline (petroleum jelly) and then wipe off. This process should hide the affected area but not fix it and leaves behind a slight glossy sheen but is better than white marks everywhere.

Comments about K2 Skis Rival Pro:

I am 43 years old and have been skiing since I was 12, this is the first helmet I have ever owned and glad I bought it. Spend the money, it is way more comfortable than the $50 no-name brand helmet. One suggestion, don't use alcohol to clean the spot you want to put a sticker, it took the finish right off my helmet (matte black).

This is a great helmet, its simple and light and looks great. The speakers also work great but there is one problem and its the audio cord; it's frail and frankly cheap and immediately started started cutting out the first day I used it. I replaced the cord with one that plugs into other high end headphones and its a perfect match.

Comments about K2 Skis Rival Pro:

I own the 2011 one. The helmet is very comfy & warm. It fits me very well. As well it's pretty lightweight. The default audio cord is complete junk. Also i have some issues with strap bracket - it is fixed by screw, so you need a screwdriver to install your goggles. Either i had to move the goggles clasp cause it doesn't do under the bracket. Nevertheless i liked the helmet very much.

The Baseline Audio System is the best out there. Excellent sound and having the ability to mute the tunes when talking to someone without having to dig your player out of your pocket is priceless. The only downfall is that you will tend to sing along. My wife and kids will no longer ride the lift with me. Wah

I brought this helmet last season, really great helmet, fits great really warm and comfortable yet well ventilated. The best bit its protection i wore this my first time on proper snow and had a big accident which could of split the back of my head open but didn't due to this as i came round from being knocked out i was still able to listen to my tunes! :)
