In-Mold
In-Mold is the premium construction for ultra-lightweight performance helmets and is characterized by an EPS liner that is bonded to a lightweight poly-carbonate (PC) shell utilizing a distinct molding process. Unlike Hard-Shell construction, the lightweight EPS inner layer of the helmet is fused directly to the thin PC shell during molding. The result is a super light and protective envelope with minimal weight. -
Passive-Channel Venting™
Channels on the inside surface of the EPS direct air-flow between your head and the helmet, removing moisture and excess heat; keeping you dry and comfortable all day long. Available on all K2 helmets. -
K2dialed Fit System
The K2dialed Fit System creates a custom-fitting helmet no matter what your head shape. An ergonomically inspired three-point adjustable interface maximizes fit and customization with the twist of a dial. This allows for the ultimate convenience of being able to make fit adjustments on the fly. The end result of the K2dialed Fit System is customized helmet fit just for you. Available on Diversion, Virtue, Rival BC, Rival Pro, Rival, Ally Pro, Ally, Phase Pro, Phase, Illusion, Shadow and Clutch Rental. -
Full-Wrap Liner System

The Full-Wrap Liner System is seamlessly integrated with our K2dialed Fit System and K2 Baseline Audio, creating the ultimate user experience. No gaps equals better fit and more comfort. You don’t wear boots without socks, so why would you wear a helmet without a liner? Available on every single K2 helmet. -
Goggle-Compatibility
K2 Helmets' universal brim designs work in partnership with the helmet-driven topline design and custom engineered strap brackets of our goggle frames, to achieve maximum helmet/goggle fit and compatibility. This is a great helmet, its simple and light and looks great. The speakers also work great but there is one problem and its the audio cord; it's frail and frankly cheap and immediately started started cutting out the first day I used it. I replaced the cord with one that plugs into other high end headphones and its a perfect match.

I own the 2011 one. The helmet is very comfy & warm. It fits me very well. As well it's pretty lightweight. The default audio cord is complete junk. Also i have some issues with strap bracket - it is fixed by screw, so you need a screwdriver to install your goggles. Either i had to move the goggles clasp cause it doesn't do under the bracket. Nevertheless i liked the helmet very much.

The Baseline Audio System is the best out there. Excellent sound and having the ability to mute the tunes when talking to someone without having to dig your player out of your pocket is priceless. The only downfall is that you will tend to sing along. My wife and kids will no longer ride the lift with me. Wah

I brought this helmet last season, really great helmet, fits great really warm and comfortable yet well ventilated. The best bit its protection i wore this my first time on proper snow and had a big accident which could of split the back of my head open but didn't due to this as i came round from being knocked out i was still able to listen to my tunes! :)

I use the helmet in the park and is great compared to others i have used before.
There does appear to be a fault with the headphone jack though, both mine and my friend (same helemt) after two weeks riding found the headphone jack started to fail and we would only get music in one ear, they eventually both ears, this is the same for both of us so not just a random one off.
We have fixed them now but soldering on new headphone jacks, but u dont really expect to have to do that when your spending so much.
