Technology

360-k2dialed-fit-system
An evolution of the K2dialed Fit System™, the new 360 K2dialed Fit System™ delivers unparalleled customization. A web design that is integrated into the textile liner provides maximum comfort and a secure fit. Thanks to more evenly distributed pressure, the all-new 360 K2dialed Fit System™ eliminates unwanted pressure points regardless of your head shape.
Level-3-baseline-audio
The K2 Level 3 Baseline Audio system seamlessly connects you with your cell phone or media player. The audio system comes pre-installed in Baseline Audio Earpads. The speaker housing creates a minimal, low-profile stowage so you won’t notice the speakers unless the music is playing. If you would rather ride without the speakers installed, they can be easily removed from the earpads. With a detachable cord and an all-new on-cord audio controller for initiating on-the-go pause/play and answer/hang-up functions, your media device is literally at your fingertips.
In-mold
In-Mold is the premium construction for ultra-lightweight performance helmets and is characterized by an EPS liner that is molded directly to a lightweight polycarbonate shell. The result is a construction so light you’ll forget it is even there.
Passive-channel-venting
Channels on the inside surface of the EPS direct air-flow between your head and the helmet, removing moisture and excess heat; keeping you dry and comfortable all day long. Available on all K2 helmets.
Full-wrap-liner
This full-coverage, washable liner snugly cradles your head, creating the unmatched fit of a K2 helmet. The liner features a crown mesh that wicks moisture and breathes to prevent overheating. The Full-Wrap Liner System is seamlessly integrated with both our standard and 360 K2dialed™ Fit Systems and K2 Baseline Audio, creating the ultimate user experience. There are no gaps, which means a better fit and improved comfort.

      Comments about K2 Skis Ally:

I absolutely LOVE this helmet. It's incredibly light and the sound quality is fantastic. My only issue is that the pause button that allows you to answer the phone or pause a song does not work and while K2 is sending me a new one, no charge, it will be a MONTH before I get it. I would still recommend this helmet highly.

        Comments about K2 Skis Ally:

I really like this helmet. As advertised, it's lightweight and low profile. I am using the Photokinetic goggle with this helmet and those goggles fit pretty well with this helmet too. The K2 dialed fit feature is easy to use, making adjustment with and without a balaclava super easy. My head circumference measures 21.5" and this helmet fits great - the small was a little tight for my liking. The integrated tunes is a must! Recommend!

          Comments about K2 Skis Ally:

My new K2 helmet is not only protective and warm, but cooooozy too! The women's specific fit is key for those of us with medium to small sized noggins… unisex doesn't always work for women! The fleece liner inside is soft and warm, and on really cold days I can easily fit a balaclava underneath. K2 designed the brim of this helmet to perfectly fit/coordinate with the ladies' Captura goggles… no gaper gap here! With skiers and riders in mind that shred with a personal soundtrack, the Ally features an integrated headphone system, meaning I no longer have to uncomfortably shove my ear buds in my ears to jam out while I'm on the hill. To top it off, I love the subtle graphics and mint colored accents, too ☺

          Comments about K2 Skis Ally:

I love my new helmet. After years of resisting, my job finally forced me to ride with a helmet. It was the first of hundreds I had tried on that actually looked cool. It's retro and fun and a really good way to keep your ears warm! The only thing now is: my goggles don't fit. There's a little gap between the peak of the helmet and the top of the goggles for frost-bite or sunburn. The plastic links on the straps move around so they don't rest snugly and the clip at the back goes over the buckle. It's the first helmet I've liked but there should definitely be a pairing system that tells you what goggles go with what helmet!
