Traveling Skis Heads to New Mexico!
The Traveling Skis arrived in New Mexico along with huge storm. Thirty-four inches of down snow fell in Taos over the last three days, and the skis handled it beautifully. From soft intermediate bumps to off piste face shots, every lady that skied them came back smiling! As we ship them out to their next destination, the sun is coming our and the bluebird skies are back!

Traveling Skis: Stowe, Vermont, USA
Hosted by: AJ’s Ski & Sports Stowe, Vermont
The K2 Traveling Skis have made there way to the Green Mountains! Testers had the opportunity to ski both Mt. Mansfield and Jay Peak located in northern, Vermont. The weather was sunny, the Lotta Luvs shinned brightly and the girls had a blast! We skied the bumps, glades, groomers, crud and even death cookies. We danced with these skis through the frozen Vermont trees, hobblebush, evergreen swags and riverbeds we thought were frozen. Some of us even got a little air underneath our feet. AJ’s Ski and Sports in Stowe, Vermont hosted the Traveling Skis for a few nights, before making their final debut at Jay Peak. The dance went on for days and more signatures were added. All fingers crossed to win a pair!

“Traveling Skis” visited Sweden
Straight from Switzerland to Sweden. After some great weeks in Switzerland the K2 Traveling Skis finally made it to Sweden. During the Swedish Demo-Tour, the girls had the chance to test and sign the Traveling Skis.
The Traveling Skis: Switzerland
Last week the K2 Traveling Skis did an other step on their journey, they visited Zermatt in Switzerland. Zermatt with the famous Matterhorn is one of the most known places in Switzerland. Skiers from Switzerland and members of the K2 Women’s Alliance tested and signed the Traveling Skis. The great weather and the impressive area with the Matterhorn made this day for the women and the Traveling Skis unforgettable.

“Traveling Skis” appearance in Saas Fee / Switzerland
On the 24th and 25th of November 2009 the Traveling Skis visited Switzerland. In Saas Fee, surrounded by a breathtaking area on the board of the Allalin, around 14 wonderful mountains (altitude 4’000m), some chosen women had the pleasure to ride the slopes on the glacier of Saas Fee. The result: perfect condition and happy faces.
The Traveling Skis, a dedicated pair of Skis, will be sent around the globe in the next months. Wherever it shows up at clinics and tests women can ski and sign it and also take part in a global raffle. www.k2women.com
