In 2008, the K2 Pink Chase began as a vertical initiative to raise money for breast cancer research during October (breast cancer awareness month). Ten K2 Alliance gals stepped up to the plate, skied hundreds of vertical feet and raised a combined $12,000. When all was said and done, the ladies had an amazing time, not only competing on snow, but also challenging each other to fundraise, and festively dress in pink. When we considered the impact an enthusiastic group of women could make, we decided to go public! In 2009, we exceeded our expectations by raising over $28,000. To reach our goal of $50,000 this year, we need everyone's help! So gather your friends, and sign up today!

So What is the K2 Pink Chase?
A unique spin on a Women's Ski, Snowboard, & Telemark Vertical Challenge. Women teams of 3 compete against each other and ski/ride as much vertical feet as possible in four hours. Teams are also battling for multiple awards, so be sure to fundraise some $$, dress to impress, and dance your way to après!

And what is this Unique Spin?
During the four hours, teams have the opportunity to earn bonus vertical feet. Stations (popup tents) will be scattered all over the mountain; each station will require teams to complete a unique activity. The Reward: more vertical feet accrued... better chances to win the most vertical feet award... it's not always about being the fastest...
