CAMBER: Control, edge hold, rebound
This tip has the most elevation and longest measurement of Rocker and offers skiers a “surfy” feel with enhanced soft-snow performance. The camber region still exists to ensure edge-hold on firmer conditions.

The 181cm was the best compromise. Really good in the fluffy bumps and through the trees. Blasted through the pow in Whistler last week.
The tail had the stiffness to hold a carve in tighter lines, and even on the groomers.
The 188cm was a bit slow to initiate the turn from edge to edge.
I am putting touring bindings on and can't wait to use them in Oz.

I am a Patroller and these are my new daily drivers. The Obsethed had been my ski of choice for my work, but the SideSeth is an even better tool. It is less powder-specific and is more of an all-mountain ski now. The SideSeth is super stable and fast. It does not get nervous at speed like the Obsethed can. The tail is stiff and rockets you out of turns when carving, as well as apply the brakes when on the steeps and in powder. The side cut is longer turning than the Obsethed, but is smooth, graceful, and just as capable in bumps or narrow chutes as it is arcing big GS turns at speed. The tips are not as elevated as on the Obsethed, but will ride over everything in its path. The skis absolutely destroys the crud. The camber underfoot is longer and the tail is nearly flat (and stiff) compared to the Obsethed, which makes it not only more stable, but also makes the ski a tool for backcountry use. Chamoniox obviosly inspired Seth to design a rock-solid, accomplish everything, weapon to dominate any conditions. K2 has smartly placed it in the BackSide series to emphasize it's non-powder specific character. It is an excellent ski to enjoy in-area or in the backcountry.

This ski brought me back from snowboarding. Does really well in powder, you feel like you can charge hard and don't worry about sinking even in deep fluffy stuff. Also holds its own well on groomers if you get caught on them.
a little weak though, they have some good dents in them from some minor hits.
Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend

great ski, good weapon for everithing. tried on powder is good like than more fat pontoon or darkside that I have, but I must to try with 50 inch :D
on the packed snow or little bit pressed respond good and also if you are turning in continuos. Thanks to K2 and for your good job, I think that I've a new weapon
