    Carbon Web

Enveloping the Mod structure with a carbon weave where the strands of carbon are laid at precise angles for an additional level of torsional rigidity on the secondary core. This keeps the ski light but gives you the additional torsional strength where you need it most.
  • Progressive Sidecut

    Progressive Sidecut

Progressive sidecut is a combination of two different radii, or sidecuts, that enhance the versatility of wider-waist skis. Standard sidecut theory is based on using a single radius. This works well on narrower skis, but becomes overpowering on wider skis, especially in variable conditions. The use of progressive sidecut on wider-waist skis guarantees improved turn initiation and hard-snow performance.

    Mod Technology

High-Performance Suspension System Mod functions by absorbing vibrations and impact loads along the entire ski, providing stronger edge-hold and a higher degree of power and control. Mod is a secondary core that flexes and moves on top of the primary core, allowing the overall ski flex to be unaffected.

Great, fun ski

By S Park

from Chicago area

Pros

  • Easy turning
  • Holds on ice

Cons

    Best Uses

I'm an advanced intermediate skier, 6'0", 168 lbs, in the midwest who has skied for 40+ years, who skiis mostly groomed, but occasionally off-groomed powder, and who gets to Colorado once a year. Bought these to replace my 15-year old performance Olins at the recommendation of a Chicago-area ski shop. First used them two weeks ago at Breck, CO. The skis were fantastic and a pleasure to ride. They turn easily and grab and hold their line on steep icy slopes. Also noticed much less leg fatigue after a day at altitude. These skiis made this last trip to Breck a real pleasure.

I'm not an experienced skier by any means and just recently purchases these skis. Twice that I've been out on them, I've dealt with groomed hills along with some icy areas.

Ski turns comfortably and digs in well on its edges on the hard packed/icy terrain.

As an intermediate level skier, what I appreciate most is that it is quite evident that I have skis that are responsive to my current needs with plenty of room to grow and be able to really push the ski from where I can now.

Definitely great value ski to allow me to continue to get better without the need to replace these anytime in the near future.

I've used this ski for maybe 50 days last season and even though it was a terrible season, the skis outlasted it. They fought against the ice, rocks and even grass. Very good skis for moguls, steeps and glades, I recommend it highly.
