Comments about K2 Skis SuperBurnin:
So it hasn't snowed for a couple of weeks except for a little dusting. But the temps have been cold - below freezing - giving us squeaky and chalky snow. Some places we found dust on crust resulting. Took out the Super Burnin's and WOW - these babies sliced and diced everywhere and everything. They felt like fine-tuned race skis - holding and gripping on anything firm. I was stable and I could go fast. Then I whipped into some bumps and bumps and lumps were just minced meat under these skis. These are the Samurai Sword of skis - cuts through anything. When I'm on these skis, I feel like I'm totally in charge of all conditions and the entire mountain. Chicken heads? - slice 'em off! Best ski for skiing like you mean it!
Pros
- Do Anything For You
- Stability
- Turn Radius
Cons
Best Uses
- All around tool
- Hardpack
- Midwest ~~~quot~~~snow~~~quot~~~ Ice
Comments about K2 Skis SuperBurnin:
I teach on the hardpack of Minnesota all winter long. The SuperBurnin is by far the BEST ski I have ever used to teach and free ski. It manuvers easily, carves like a Ginsu Knife and holds an edge at slow and fast speeds.
Pros
- Edge Hold
- Precise
- Range Of Turn Sizes
- Stable Even At Speed
- Versatile
Cons
Best Uses
- Bumps
- Groomed
- Packed powder
Comments about K2 Skis SuperBurnin:
Not only do these look groovy, they also perform like delicately sharpened Ginsu knives! Strong, stable, sexy and peppy. These skis can negotiate under pressure of firm snow, steep & tight lines, and big bumps with the grace and agility of an alpha female jaguar. No, I didn't say "cougar." A ski for a true EXPERT woman. Finally.
Comments about K2 Skis SuperBurnin:
Just back from a week skiing in the French Alps and hired these superb skis from Doorstep in Morzine. What a fantastic choice! I've never had so much fun, been so fast and in control on piste after piste. Particularly good on compact snow but found them smooth in the soft stuff too. I want a pair of my own, please!!!
Pros
- Great edge hold
- Smooth No Chatter
Cons
Best Uses
- Groomers And Hard Pack
Comments about K2 Skis SuperBurnin:
I live in the southeast and our conditions warrant a ski that can hold a good edge on hardback, yet go in the spring crud which comes early to us. This ski allows me to keep my speed up with confidence and I know I can count on a smooth, fast and fun ride to the bottom! Holds an edge on the steep and deep!
Comments about K2 Skis SuperBurnin:
Used these on lignt powder days and they were awesome. On hard pack the edge control is amazing. If you like quick turns and speed, then you will love these (they are fast). On bumps as long as I turned on top of bump they were wonderful but if I turned at the bottom of the bump, I had to muscle them around a bit. Still fun though. Probablly wouldn't recommend these to anyone that is not at least an advanced skier.
