Catch-Free Profile

Grom Approved Noodle Technology

Grom Approved Noodle Technology
The Noodle Ski System is a totally unique technology for the Groms series. The disadvantage in most junior skis is the stiffness of the overall ski due to minimum thickness required to retain binding screws. With the Noodle Tech binding system, the plate is actually fused to the ski, requiring no screws, so the thinner core provides a smooth-flexing ski. That means better comfort and control for a junior skier and, ultimately, more fun.

      Comments about K2 Skis Indy:

I have a 4 and 6 year old who have been on skis since they were 2. They both can ski the entire mountain and have been playing in the park. The K2 Indy has allowed them to have more fun on the jumps, fun boxes and rails than any other ski I have had them on...great design K2.

        Comments about K2 Skis Indy:

This is a great ski for kids who are advanced skiers, or becoming advanced skiers. K2 got the shape right, and it doesn't change from year-to-year (just the tops). Kids can slide/steer and carve turns on these skis. When my 9-year old started skiing double diamonds, we switched to the Bad Seed since it offers better floatation and is a bit stiffer. For intermediates to advance kids who spend most of their time on the frontside, stay with the Indy. The bases and edges are of a high quality, and will last several seasons. Keep these waxed and tuned and they will remain a quality ride for younger brothers and sisters.

            Comments about K2 Skis Indy:

My son is 9 years old and has been skiing for 3 years. Each year he grows in height and ability, so we started the new season in November with these skis. He already needs new skis because he keeps growing, but anyway, he adapted to these on his very first run. The skis repond well on groomed runs, and my son loves them. He has started skiing down some of the Black Diamond rated runs for the first time, and the skis do alright. He now has the ability and confidence to try some moguls and small jumps on the freestyle runs. He does sink a bit into the powder, which really slows him down and makes turning difficult. Also, the skis lose some of their grip on the ice and hard packed surfaces, but they do okay on the morning frozen crust. This is a good ski for beginner to intermediate levels, and is even okay for kids willing to start taking it up just a notch.
