Technology

Hard-shell
Hard-Shell helmets are built to last and will look good no matter how many trips they make in and out of your gear bag. Hard-Shell helmets protect you from impact thanks to a lightweight EPS foam bonded to an injection-molded and durable ABS shell.
Passive-channel-venting
Channels on the inside surface of the EPS direct air-flow between your head and the helmet, removing moisture and excess heat; keeping you dry and comfortable all day long. Available on all K2 helmets.
Full-wrap-liner
This full-coverage, washable liner snugly cradles your head, creating the unmatched fit of a K2 helmet. The liner features a crown mesh that wicks moisture and breathes to prevent overheating. The Full-Wrap Liner System is seamlessly integrated with both our standard and 360 K2dialed™ Fit Systems and K2 Baseline Audio, creating the ultimate user experience. There are no gaps, which means a better fit and improved comfort.

      Terrible Design for Goggle Clip

      By Sue

      from Vancouver Canada

      Comments about K2 Skis Rant:

My son lost a brand new pair of goggles today due to the poor design of the clip. The clip has a screw at top and loosely clips at the bottom. Goggles easily slide out from the clip.

        Comments about K2 Skis Rant:

Great helmet. Fits best with beanie under. You put it on and forget its there. Also love the part about being able to just drop in the audio speakers into the ear pads.

But one thing that just makes me go "why?", is the goggle clip. It was probably designed by someone who never wore goggles over the helmet. Its a piece of soft plastic with one screw attached, and if you pull your goggles off your face, they will slide to the back and slip out from under the clip. I had to retrieve my goggles from under the lift twice past weekend because of it.
