Technology

Energy-interlock
A rivet-free technology that locks the cuff and shell in both the forward and aft direction. This fundamental technology gives the boots life and power ideal for all-mountain and freeride skiing where you encounter a wide variety of conditions and terrain. When the boot flexes forward, the Interlock stretches, creating a buildup of energy. This not only puts lower stresses on the boot material but also produces a smoother, more efficient load transfer, delivering a more natural flex and dynamic performance in all conditions.
Powerfuse-spyne
A rear co-injected “Y” shaped design that adds strength and power to the Energy Interlock, the PowerFuse SpYne maximizes fore/aft flex efficiency and lateral stiffness for sustained performance and responsiveness in all terrain. Because of the SpYne, we are able to optimize materials in the cuff and shell, eliminating excessive vibrations in rough terrain.
Precision-fit
Our premium, heat-moldable liner, the PrecisionFit INTUITION®, is molded/lasted to deliver a precise “out-of-the-box” fit, minimize “dead spots,” and optimize power transfer between the liner and shell. Heat-Moldable Asymmetric Tongues provide the necessary comfort and performance needed to reduce shin bang and ensure smooth, precise flex initiation. The Power Wedge and Power Collar offer varied forward lean and the upper cuff support you demand for charging hard.
Replaceable-outsoles
Dual-injected Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR) with Thermo Plastic Urethane (TPU) increases the life of your boots and provides secure footing whether walking on rock, ice, or stairs.
Padded-mid-grip
Duel Injected Thermo Plastic Rubber (TPR) for added grip and traction while walking on rocks or riding on snowmobiles.
Power-strap
Extra wide, strong, and powerful cam-lock PowerClinch strap featured on the SpYne 130. Durable Velcro Powerstraps in varying widths for support and strength on all other models.
Cuff-alignment-index
Adjust +/- 2.2 degrees on medial and lateral sides for a total range of 4.4 degrees. This enables adjustment to the lower leg angle for maximum comfort and performance.
Alloy-buckles
6060 T6 Extruded Hardened Aluminum Alloy built with a minimalist lightweight design.

Comments about K2 Skis SpYre 110:

I hadn't skied in close to 15 years when I bought these to get back into it. BIG gamble. I bought them at Destination in North Vancouver, where Mel did a full custom fitting on me. These are simply the best boots I have ever owned - moderately high compression, but incredibly comfortable and not an ounce of cold. Highly, highly recommended - have them custom fit so you can correct the narrow issues some folks have referenced.

I'm the baseball player(or skier) who doesn't change their outfit or equipment! Superstitious I guess. I was apprehensive after skiing in the same boots for the last 10 years! But it's like putting on slippers! Except with a great connection from foot to ski. The intuition liners mold to your foot and the boots have done a great job keeping my feet warm (tested at -20 wind chill)!

With the Spyre 110 I can go out in style!! and stay out all day!

Comments about K2 Skis SpYre 110:

The Spyre 110 boots are the warmest boots I have ever owned. My foot is very difficult to fit (narrow and long). I have never owned a ski boot that fits out of the box, but I liked these immediately. The intuition liner is comfortable and after a few tweaks to the shell, they are an excellent mix of comfort and performance. I chose not to heat the liners until I use them a few more days. I use these boots for all mountain.

Comments about K2 Skis SpYre 110:

I gave up alpine skiing because I could not find an alpine boot that didn't cause me discomfort and pain. I have a wider toe box but a low-volume foot/ankle. I love the look of these boots, the buckle system, and the comfortable liners. Unfortunately, they were too narrow for me through the toe box. That said, these boots translated my movements to the ski with precision, are very high-quality, and look great. They are easy to walk in, but were difficult for me to get on/off.

Wow, the first time EVER of comfortable boots right off the bat. I was nervous in the boot shop with how comfortable the boots were. My first days of skiing this year were teaching for over 6 hours in my boots. I would have died in the past, but these boots were incredibly comfortable with great performance! I have some minor adjustments to make in the ankle/heel area but it seems like it will be extremely easy to perfect. Very excited for this season with great new boots! Pray for Snow!!!!

Flex and Stance - Nailed it!!
This boot has the most balanced stance out of the box I've ever experienced! Flex is smooth and progressive - plenty stiff, but you never feel like you're hitting the wall like you can with a riveted boot. Warm and comfy; easy on and off. A great boot for advanced and expert women.

Everything I hoped for and more!
After being in a Telemark boot for the past 9 years I was hesitant to try out a stiff, high performance Alpine boot. This boot has surpassed my expectations. Whether its carving down groomers, playing in the Wasatch pow, or hardpack - these boots do it all. The intuition liner creates a precise fit and comfort. The boots are easy to get in and out of - even in the negative numbers. The 110 flex delivers the stiffness I need and the energy interlock technology combined with the powerfuse spyne makes for smooth transitions between turns. I love these boots and have yet to find a flaw in them.

The comfort was so impressive when I first put them on - They are so soft inside and they fit my narrow feet well. The intuition liner customises the fit. They provide the perfect link to the ski with precision for responsiveness and transfer of energy. Another big bonus is the traction on the sole - they don't slip like other boots do.

WOW WOW WOW, this boot is amazing. I have been in a plug race boot for the past couple years because I really like a high performance boot, and the Spyre 110 offers everything you can imagine in performance. The flex is comperable to a high performance race boot but the fit and the comfort in this boot are off the charts. The fit of the intuition liner us unbeleivable. I had my local boot fitter heat up the liner and I haven't had to go back once to make any adjustments, I have never had that happen before. If you are looking for a high performance boot I HIGHLY recommend the Spyre 110. Not only is it really amazing but it's super cute :)
