Triaxial-braid
The patented Triaxial Braiding machine interlocks strands of fiberglass around a milled core, resulting in great torsional strength while retaining the lively flex patterns inherent in a wood core ski.
All-terrain-rocker-1
ROCKER: Easy initiation, versatility, agility
CAMBER: Control, edge hold, rebound

All-Terrain Rocker features an elevated tip for variable and soft snow performance, as well as camber underfoot for power, energy, and edge-hold in firmer conditions.

Simply put, All-Terrain Rocker offers versatility and ease in all snow conditions.
All-Terrain Profile
Bioflex-cores
All of K2’s women’s skis use cores that feature a combination of Aspen, Paulownia, and Bamboo. BioFlex cores are comprised of strong Aspen wood underfoot, which is fused with lightweight Paulownia in the tip and tail using a specific interlocking pattern that reduces swing-weight and provides a smooth-flexing ski. For 2013/14, K2 continues to apply this technology through one of the following three variations of BioFlex, each specifically tuned to target different performance goals: Bioflex 3 – 80% Aspen/20% Paulownia – Increased performance, strength, and durability Bioflex 2 – 70% Aspen/30% Paulownia – reduced swing-weight with added performance Bioflex 1 – 60% Aspen/40% Paulownia – Added forgiveness with the lightest swing-weight
Twintech-sidewall
Twin Tip specific construction increases the durability of K2 sidewall skis. A traditional sidewall construction produces a 90-degree angle where the top material and sidewall meet. The TwinTech construction rolls the top material into the sidewall, reducing the angle that is prone to abuse, minimizing ski-to-ski impact damage.
Powder-tip
Designed to be more predictable in soft snow conditions, these tips are designed to strike the perfect balance of maximizing float while reducing tip deflection. These tips are designed with a gentle arc and transition into the sidecut of the ski.
Skin-grommets
The new freeride tip and tail grommets are a clean, simple design that no longer requires a plug. The durable rubber coating disguises a slit designed to accommodate both the Z clip for our skin attachments, and the components to build a rescue sled.
Swap-base
The bases of these skis can come in two different color ways, depending of how the colors are swapped on the base. This gives two looks to the same ski, and ensures you are not rocking the exact same pair as your buddy who just picked up the same pair of skis.

Comments about K2 Skis Remedy 102:

These are my ski of choice for touring. They are fairly wide under foot to make them stable and floaty when skiing off-piste, but they are also light enough to take touring or boot pack up the side of a ridge with. Perfect combo for an all mountain ski!

I just got these 2013 K2 Misbehaved women's high performance ski's from Santa for Christmas. As a former racer and extreme skier I need an all mountain ski that has energy, power and performs through every turn and pitch! Every other fat ski I have had in the last 5 years have been duds! With the camber, rocker and 102 under foot, I feel the perfect combination of performance, stability and response. They were fun and perfect in powder, crud, trees, steeps and cruisers! They are my new BFF's!

Comments about K2 Skis Remedy 102:

This ski handles well in all conditions, and quickly became my everyday favorite. The width and tip/tail rocker are great for surfing soft snow, but also makes for strong, stable turns on groomers. I love buttering 360's with it all over the mountain. It's the ultimate all-mountain one quiver ski.

Comments about K2 Skis Remedy 102:

If you wanted one ski to do it all, the Remedy 102 is your ski. Ive tested them on both the firm hardpack and fluffy Wasatch pow at Alta, the fast groomers at Vail, and had a blast every time. The skis are light and quick to transition, but also stiff enough that you wont get bucked around when conditions harden. The All Terrain Rocker gives this ski the versatility to ski in any type of snowpack.

Comments about K2 Skis Remedy 102:

I am LOVING my new Remedy 102's! These lady shredder sticks are super sick! This women's specific expert ski measures out at 102mm underfoot, with a bidirectional and all-terrain rocker profile. On groomers they are capable of both tight carvey turns as well as longer GS turns… at higher speeds, I never feel any resistance or chatter of any sort. In powder they are playful, surfy, and floaty.; in tight trees and bumps they are responsive and quick. The Remedy 102's are my go to for whatever the weather and snow conditions are may be. They always send it, and make me feel like a rockstar! Oh, the graphics? Nailed it K2! Feminine and strong, just like the ski. There is literally nothing that I dislike about these :)

Comments about K2 Skis Remedy 102:

Thank you K2! I love this ski! It's fat enough to bust through crud and float in powder, but has a turning radius (16m @ 169) that makes it really responsive in the bumps and a decent carving ski. If I had to list a con: I have these mounted with NTN Rottafella Freedom bindings (light binding) and they are a bit heavy when shouldering on longer hikes, but tolerable for short ones. Very happy with this ski - it's my new all mountain, all condition telemark ski! Another bonus: these graphics are attractive!
